About Puerh Tea

Puerh tea is a unique type of fermented tea from Yunnan province, China. With over 20 years of experience in Menghai—the heart of Puerh tea production—we bring you authentic, high-quality Puerh teas from ancient tea mountains.

What Makes Puerh Special

Unlike other teas, Puerh improves with age, much like fine wine. It comes in two main varieties: Raw Puerh and Ripe Puerh. Our collection features both types, sourced directly from renowned tea mountains including Yiwu, Bulang, Bingdao, and Lao Ban Zhang.

Types of Puerh

  • Raw Puerh (Sheng): Naturally aged, fresh and vibrant with strong cha qi
  • Ripe Puerh (Shou): Fermented through pile processing, smooth and mellow

Health Benefits

Puerh tea is renowned for its digestive properties and is traditionally consumed after heavy meals. It may help with weight management, cholesterol levels, and contains beneficial probiotics from the fermentation process. The tea qi or tea energy is particularly strong in ancient tree Puerh.

Brewing Guidelines

  • Water Temperature: 95-100°C (203-212°F)
  • Tea Amount: 6-8 grams per 150ml
  • Steeping Time: 5-15 seconds for first infusion, gradually increasing
  • Infusions: Premium Puerh can be steeped 10-15+ times
